  • Great deal, just booked 2 tix thanks :)
got premium seats, so down from $149 to $25!

    • Although they charge $3 handling fee per ticket, so the tickets actually end up being $28 each… still a great deal nonetheless.

EDIT: apparently it's a $6 flat fee. My bad!

  • where do you enter the code?

    • there's a box on the right hand side of the screen for you to do so.

      • thx, got it!

for some reason can't book more than three ticket at the same time, so I did it two then one….

  • picked up three, its $25 for ANY SEAT so this is a great opportunity to sit in seats you probably never will again… also the handling fee is either $6 or $8.50, for 3 tickets it was $6 for me… I'm sure this deal won't last long…

  • why i have reserved ticket failed?
    using IE..
wit firefox worst, cant do it

    • I originally tried to book 2 seats in the premium stall….. for some reason that wouldn't work. However, premium circle worked. So I'm pretty happy.

I reasoned that maybe the premium stall tickets were just too "premium" for the $25 tickets if that makes sense?

      • Same here, but not because they were too premium!

I booked 2 seats in the Premium circle only to have them disappear as I tried to pay for them. They are supposed to be reserved for 15 minutes when you are paying online.

I rang the office and spoke to someone - who tacitly acknowledged the website was faulty - and booked tickets through them. Apparently my original booking had gone to someone else but the new seats were even better in a box circle front row.

Edit: I used Firefox but then tried IE when I started having problems. They said they're rebuilding the site from scratch because of the number of problems they're having.

        • Cool - very nice work with the front row!! I didn't see those tickets available on the website, I guess you have to call up to score such excellent seats.

Just checked the website again, a lot of the good seats available before are now gone, I think a lot of people are taking up this offer.

I'm booked my tix in the 3rd row from the front in the premium circle, really looking forward to this as I haven't been to the Opera House for a concert for ages…..

Out of curiosity where would be the best seats in the Opera House? Or people have varying preferences and there is no particular "best spot"?

          • @kati: The front row circle box seats WERE visible on the website, and I suggested them to the booking guy after my first choice - premium circle central aisle seats 2nd row (B) from front - disappeared.

I hadn't noticed the front row circle box seats initially because I was only looking at the $149 premium circle seats.

  • -1

Picked up two — exceptional deal for premium seats.

  • nvermind, change the seat, this time ok. got 2. thanks
    also premium

  • Crap! Have a work teleconference that night.

  • they charge a $6 handling fee for a purchase. so for one person it's $31. the handling fee is obviously reduced if you buy a whole bunch of tix.

  • well remember this is concert building, front row might not be always the best. i imagine they built the opera house with good sound system stuffs, so everywhere must be also alright, some better (thats the premium seat)

  • +1

I really want to do this but I don't want to go alone. Anyone need a date? lol

    • you better specify your date's preferences before some1 agree haha

  • Interesting stats there :-)
