Saw this in the latest Big W catalogue. Comparison prices on ebay / etc makes this look like a pretty good price.

    Totally crap quality compared to the product years ago. I've got a set of Derwent Artists which are meant to be better quality than the Academy (going to sell them). If you're wanting a quality product - look at Primascolours or Faber Castell's Polychromos (both expensive but worth every cent).

  You're better off getting the Marco Raffine 72 set on eBay for $25.00 delivered. Better quality than the Derwent Academy. Colourists all agree these are a fantastic starter set for the price.
