    • and I bought the same one from Geekbuying last week for $129.99… Still hasn't shipped.

      • $129.99 USD or AUD?

        • USD.

From my dealings you would get it quicker from Vickmall.

Vickmall have a good reputation.I'd choose them anyday over geekbuying.

  • there's a lot of malware and spyware in these isnt there?

    • The first thing you do when you receive xiaomis from these Chinese vendors is unlock its bootloader and wipe off to a official Global ROM. Takes about 10 mins if you know what you are doing.

Vickmall is cool and would probably do it for you for free if you asked.
Just look at how demanding their comments section are and they're like 'OK OK OK OK".

  • Can you do a deal on the Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime B28 Special?

  • The Redmi 4 has just recently came out. It seems to be a nice upgrade to this. S625, 64gb storage, nicer build and FHD screen. Mind you it's around $60 more than this at moment.

  • Says its the Greek language version?

  • Just making sure, but both SIM's work in 3G/4G simultaneously, as this would be important, now 2G is being phased out, yes???

  • I purchased this one and it only had available the china rom at the time. I had to root it, install google services and remove the chinese apps it usable. Its a fantastic phone and works great. Not sure if there is an official global rom for the octa core now. I beleive the quad and hex core redmi note 3 have always had a global rom.

    • Funny thing is the miui's global rom doesn't even have Australia listed :(
      I'm using Anderson's global ports.

      • Australia is not supported as a regional selection. I guess they haven't launched here yet. But setting it to Singapore and automatic timezone there is no difference.

  • This phone has global rom available. It's a great lower tier phone, battery life outstanding, probably one of the best you can find on a phone. It's a good phone for those looking for something a little smaller than the typical 5.5 inch options. The s430 coupled with 3gb of ram handles Android quite well, even doing tasks like gaming is fine because of the 720p screen. It's not going to launch apps as fast as say the Redmi note 3, but it still surprisingly quite fast despite the s430.
