Bluetooth Transmitter for TV Audio

Hi, I am looking for a good bluetooth transmitter for TV audio. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good bluetooth transmitter, preferably under $100 (I already have a bluetooth headset, so just need the transmitter). I don't like RF transmitters (they seem to get a lot inference, the one I got from Aldi from last deal was not good, sound keep cutting off, so it is in the bin now (lost my receipt, so can't claim warranty). Thanks.

  • have a look on aliexpress. a bunch for ~US$10 delivered.

    this one for US$7.08 has good reviews

    • Thank you. Mixed reviews.

  • I've got a couple of 'Arealer' branded Chinese ones for a similar purpose. Problem is the lag; especially for video syncing with your TV, the audio with be a couple of hundred milliseconds delayed which is infuriating…

    Still, worth trying at $10…

    • Thank you, a lot of online reviews also mentioned about audio lag problem for a lot of cheap ones. At the moment I am looking at this one: "avantree priva 2", cost around $90 on eBay , gets good online reviews. However, in a few of Amazon reviews, some mentioned it also has problem with lagging, as well. Just wondering if anyone has used one that has reasonable sound quality and does not audio lag,…

  • +1

    I have an Avantree Saturn which has been excellent.

    Cost about 30 bucks from memory.

    • Thank you, around $80 on eBay. They now have the Pro version.

  • A list of low latency transmitters here;

  • Keep in mind that the bluetooth receiver you use must also support aptX.

    FWIW, I find regular aptX "good enough" when it comes to audio/video sync. It's certainly leaps and bounds better than SBC.

  • I have bought Avantree, it's working well. I have found this review, if you found this helpful.

    Thank me later.

  • If you tell us the model of your headphones we can check if they support APTX-LL (low latency) which as mentioned is what you need on both the transmitter and receiver for watching TV without sync issues.

  • I've been using the Aventree Priva II for over a year
    I got it for ~$50 on ebay and been working amazing with my QC35
