Hi Everyone, My Name's Leigh, I'm New to OZ Bargain

HI Everyone, I will be posting deals on behalf of www.briscoes.com.au

our main offer is $30 back on any order over $60 and we will be stacking that on top of 30 - 60% off items each week with free delivery anywhere in Australia.

The deals are a way for us to introduce our service to Australians and hopefully get lots of traction as they will effectively be quality items on or below cost with free delivery.

Anyhow, if you have any tips or suggestions on how we can better contribute to the Oz Bargain community please let me know.

Cheers,

Leigh

    Wow! Prices are very reasonable.

In fact, they're cheap. Well done and welcome. I will be a new customer should I need any homeware.

    • Hi Spackbase, thanks for the heads up, looks like we missed the boat on that one!

You've got toll midday tomorrow, there's still time to work out a discount :)

        • Hi Spackbace, I really appreciate the heads up!

The best discount I have right now is $30 back on any $60 basket with free delivery Australia wide. That discount stacks on top of the 30 - 60% off that we have on our one day sale that is today.

The voucher display state on the site activates by using this URL: http://www.briscoes.com.au/vip30off

The URl will take $30 off at checkout with free delivery and stacks on top of the existing discount.

I'm not sure how to write that up and get it out to the community but I do know that anyone using it is going to get a great bargain if they hunt around the site for the 60% off specials :)

Any feedback greatly appreciated on the best way to get this deal out there.

          Cheers,

          Leigh

          @Leighhawker:

Not bad, but your new deal is the same as your last post. Hows about a little sweetener to really make it part of the birthday event? It's like you've turned up to the party with no present, just yourself! ;) Is there a possible 5 or 10% coupon you could throw in? Or all orders over the $30 get something thrown in?

        • @Spackbace:

          Hi Spackbace, appreciate the feedback!

I'm blocked from posting or changing now but to answer your question I have a pretty good sweetener which is that today only (tuesday nov 22nd) we have 30 - 60% off the normal retail price of everything on our site.

The reason i didn't put that in the post is that the sale is today only!

Is there anyway to let people know that for today only they wil get 30 - 60% off everything in store on top of the $30 cash back on $60 and free delivery ?

You can see our display state of 30 - 60% off everything here:

          http://www.briscoes.com.au/

Hope that helps, let me know if there's anything i can do given that I now can't post again for a week.

          Cheers!

          Leigh

        • @Leighhawker:

You certainly could edit the post to have it, but definitely don't make a new one.

It's best to have every possible discount listed at time of posting, that way you get as many eyes on the post as possible. Editing and adding stuff hours later is getting a bit late to the party.

And again, the sale you have on isn't targeted at this site in particular, so it can't be part of the 10yr anniversary. As I said, see if there's anything further you can add, specific discount to this site, to be part of it all and get on the event page

        • @Spackbace: thanks, that all makes sense I'll get on to it :)

Are these sheets the same famed high quality 'Hilton Hotel' sheets? I cannot seem to select the colour.

HI Shiny Mew. I hate to say it but those sheets are assorted which means you get a random color, it's something we are trying hard to sort out with our buyers as obviously people want to choose the color! They are on at a really good price but we still need people to be able to choose, hopefully we will have that changed shortly. My apologies.

      • +1

'Shortly' as in today? Would love to buy a white set, or two, or three… :)

        • Hi Shiny Mew, I'm really sorry but we won't have that one sorted today. It only happens at certain times when a product goes on to "Hot Price" as it's a clearance price. As soon as that changes I'll let you know but it may be a week or two before I can get back to you on that.

          Thanks,

          Leigh

I note that the 30%-60% off offer is part of the 'one day sale' operating today but cannot see the $30 off $60 offer?

    • Hi Shiny Mew, the $30 back off $60 activates as a display state. It also gives free delivery and the voucher stacks on top of existing discounts. You can follow this link to activate the voucher and you will see $30 wiped off at checkout with free delivery:

      http://www.briscoes.com.au/vip30off

Let me know if you have any issues and thanks for taking a look at our site.

      Cheers

For those that don't know, Briscoes is a NZ company with many locations around the country. There have been lots of deals posted on Cheapies. The running joke in NZ is Is Briscoes having a sale today? due to them always having a sale on. Anyway, welcome, look forward to some deals.

    • +2

Hi neil, we are trying to get set up in Australia but not many people know us, that's the reason we are running some really great discounts with vouchers to introduce people to our site, products and support which we think are all solid. I think the running joke now is "Hey Briscoes are not having a sale today!" :)

Anyhow we have a $30 cash back off $60 basket voucher that stacks on top of sales (with free delivery au wide). Today we have 30 - 60% off so if you stack the voucher on top there is some serious bargain action there.

The vouchers state can be accessed via this URL: http://www.briscoes.com.au/vip30off

and you'll see the $30 taken off + free delivery at checkout on any basket of $60 or more.

Let me know what you think and cheers for the intro :)

  • Hi, I'm a bit confused, is the 30-60% supposed to be showing on the prices?

    For example:
    http://www.briscoes.com.au/shop-kitchen/appliances/1048246/R… listed "40% off now at 89.99"

A quick google search finds that model $59.95 at good guys not on special

    • Hi there, i can understand your confusion, the deal posted would have taken another $30 off that price and so you would have paid $39.99 with free shipping.

  • For someone reason my question regarding whether returns were pre-paid has disappeared. Still waiting in on an answer via PM with OP, as can't order until then. :/

    • Hi Shiny Mew, our returns are not pre paid, sorry for the delay I missed your post.

Hello there, for starters, you don't need to reply to everyone with their username

    e.g.

    Hi there xxxxxxx
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

I don't know if it bothers much but we know that you're talking to us, unless if you didn't reply and made a whole comment

    • Hey no worries, I'll drop the username in the future :)
