    Kids dropped my iron a fortnight ago and had to go get a new one in a hurry. Paid $128 at Retravision.
    No Braun promotion pamphlets advertised at Retravision either.

      Actually just called myer to see if i could stack tech15 code with another purchase from website, turns out this iron is completely out of stock, even for ebay. The ebay listing is not even meant to be active still and orders may be cancelled. You also will have to use $9.95 delivery as no myer stores with stock for c&c. Still bought, will wait and see if honoured 😊

      Just got a cancellation from Sydney City. I've already claimed the cash back so in the off chance that still goes through I can't complain.

      But it's pretty clear Myer's web platform is in a sorry state if they can't manage inventory levels and pretty much confirms why they can't compete online.

    I went in store today and they said no stock awnywhere in Australia. She offered the next model up for the best price she could do. So I ended up with the TS745A for $89, so with the cash back I ended up with a better model for only $39!!!

      That's an interesting comment from the staff member about no stock. I went into the Warringah Mall store at about 1130 on Saturday and they had one just sitting on the shelf. Must have gotten lucky.

      myer cancelled my order as well. i went to myer store and the lady there checked stock and told me there are few stock left interstate. she didnt know why is that.
      then she tried couple of times to order from her end. failed couple of time then went through. I paid through the store and i believe myer online has refunded my online payment.

        As I have updated below, my order (ebay with delivery) was fulfilled. I think with C&C orders Myer may have not been able to allocate stock, or it was costly to transfer store to store so head office just went ahead with refunds.

        Were you able to buy one eventually? The lady at your Myer store seemed helpful.

          Sorry i didn't check the below update.
          I bought it at Chadstone VIC, and the lady waved the delivery fees for me as well. She tried couple of times to allocate the stock, failed for unknown reason but eventually get through. She gave me the tax invoice and told me to wait.

          @Yourappa: Hey, I submitted the claim on 29/11/16 and have just received from Braun confirming the claim is approved.

          If your purchase was:

          Click and Collect: you should receive a tax invoice either via email or when you pickup.

          Delivery: if you paid for delivery like I did, then upon the item shipping out, I received an email from Myer with the subject "Tax Invoice Enclosed - 1 item has been shipped" which has the tracking as well as the order details, with a bold "TAX INVOICE Myer Pty Ltd ABN 83 004 143 239", which I printed that email as a PDF and submitted on Braun website.

          Hope that helps.

    Does anyone know how myer sent their tax invoice. As i didn't receive in the email. Only tax invoice is from paypal but nothing from myer. Also when i click and collected i had only a packing slip in the bag. Is that normal with Myers order?

      The packing slip in bag on collection is normal. I paid by CC through the Myer site and the tax invoice was the 'your order is ready for collection' email. Tax invoice is stated at the top.

    Has anyone's claim been approved yet?

    I've submitted the claim on 28 Dec, using Track My Claim from the link, the message I read everyday since is:

    Status of Claim: Submission Complete

    Your claim has been successfully registered and at this stage, we have all the information we require from you.

    We will advise you via your nominated email address if there are any issues with the information that you have provided. If there are no issues with your claim, you will be notified via email once your claim has been approved.

    I check my registered email, nothing either.

      I submitted mine on 29/11/2016, and currently it is pending (same message as you had).

      I think yours is going to take a lot longer since you want the claim to be approved 3 weeks from now (28 Dec)…

      Thanks for the update. I submitted my claim on 24/11. I received an email straight after saying my claim was registered with the words as you have quoted them.

      However, in track my claim it says: "You claim details"

      And that is it.

      So not sure what is going on.

    Got one (same model) about a month ago - price reduced to $79 in Myers, then $50 cashback from company = $29. Beats the $9:95 iron I got from Thingz/Reject Store type shop 5 years ago (and used 5 times before it stopped working, LOL). Makes ironing quick and easy (but prob still won't use it much).

          On the email you get from Myer saying it's ready for pickup, use the order number for the claim.

          You'll notice that email says 'Tax Invoice' in to the top corner, sending them the screenshot of the entire email worked for me.

    I had submitted a copy of the order confirmation email i got from Myer. I had to pay for shipping too cause all the stores around were sold out. Now the email i got says it's not a tax invoice. I did not receive any tax invoice when the iron was delivered too. Just got an email back from Braun saying they need a copy of the original tax invoice. How do I get this?

    Did anyone get a "textile protector" in theirs? the manual references it however other parts say selected models only and there is a comment i read about it in one of the reviews. Unsure if the myer one is meant to come with one so i just want to confirm and see who got one or didn't get one.

      The date I received the "Claim Approved" email was 14/12/2016, and nothing has shown up in my bank account yet. They did state "Please allow up to 12 weeks from the date of this email for the funds to appear in your nominated account."

        Yeah, I received my email on the 14th even though the funds arrived on the 12th.

        Your EFT cash back payment has been processed and sent to your nominated bank account.

        Please allow up to 5 business days for the payment to appear in your account from the date of this email. In your statement, it should appear as from "Braun"

        If you have purchased a model which also contained a free Ironing Board, the Ironing board will be delivered shortly.

          The email after you get approved even says it can take 12 weeks.

          Please allow up to 12 weeks from the date of this email for the funds to appear in your nominated account.

          @alexlf: A pain? It was much easier than having to mail a physical form to bloody Telfast for a $6 rebate which they then REJECTED in another physical letter! And if it had worked they would have sent it to me in the form of a bank cheque which I would then have to drop into a bank! This is quite simple compared to that.

          Someone got rebate earlier, someone hasn't. I submitted on 28 Nov, still no sign of money. I assume they only process
          one batch of payments each month, if you miss last payment, you would have to wait for another 4 weeks.

          @jayzee: yeah I think you're right it's done in batches, apologies if my comment offended anyone. I am used to the american express cash back offers and this claim process is not something I have experienced in the past.

          I didn't mention that I had to send the same Tax invoice 3 times to Braun and it took 2 weeks for it to show as approved, and since then they have not responded to any of my emails. I have no confidence that they will reply to my email if I don't receive the cash back after 12 weeks.

          And also having a look at this post most of comments were questions/issues around the claim.

          @alexlf: I submitted all my info i had 4 times & made 2 phone calls before my claim was finally approved early January, i bought the iron when it was first posted.It definitely wasn't an easy process for me so i am just glad mine was finally approved & not too concerned about when i receive the cashback in my bank account. So i for one understand your frustration with the process.
