    Just asked an eBay rep and got told that this isn't happening, Rep I spoke to could be misinformed so I'm not certain this isn't happening.

      Another reason why this unlikely is because eBay coupons almost always start on 10:00am Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Odd for one to start on a Friday.
