This is a good portable notebook with ultra low voltage cure 2 duo processor, 4GB RAM and very good battery life. The price has been reduced to $639 compared to $699 just a week back at centrecom.

So overall I think it is a great deal.
You also seem to get a free External Optical Drive with it as well.
As for the free power adapter, one has to assume that it's an EXTRA power adapter as surely it comes with one as well.. Thats actually kinda cool as the point of a portable laptop is the have less weight so having an extra power supply stashed somewhere will reduce the need for you to carry the charger with you.
to be fair, Dell used to do this with their Latitudes… leave a power adapter at work, leave one at home. No need to carry it.
Anyone know what these are like? is this a bargain? Friend is looking for a laptop.
So what would one say the battery life is like on this if I was to mainly surf the net, maybe play a few low-performance games when not plugged into the wall?
