Do the prices you're quoting include the $50 off campaign Sonos launched today?
I would assume so… everything (bar the PLAY:1) is suspiciously $50 off, and the deal was posted today.
The lack of googlecast kills sonos for me. Music apps all works great but there's no easy way to listen to podcasts
Podcasts work pretty well in Spotify. Isn't that an option for you?
Not sure if this what you're after but they've added spotify connect support in the current beta (7.0)
My Sonos system comes up as a Cast option (for Google Play Music).

I thought I saw them on the today show this morning for Black Friday sales.
They're pretty good though, I've got a 1, 5's, bar and sub too. The sub makes a HUGE difference.Cheers. Picked up one today.
Prices still a bit meh.
Play:5 is about $15~20 cheaper than buying from eBay after delivery. Still cheapest I can find atm.
Play:3 is decent, but not as low as it was at $339 del'd with eBay 15% off 2 months ago.
Play:1 is $249 at the Apple Store at the moment with free shipping, so you're only $1-5~ cheaper unless people are near Ringwood.
Playbar and Sub were $849 @ VideoPro earlier this week
