    Couple of things, tried to purchase but I couldn't find any details relating to your business (E.g. ABN)and the link to Facebook is to a non-existent page. Doesn't give the potential buyer a whole lot of confidence about handing money over?

    In addition, the website states that all order has free shipping, yet you are charging $3 here? You might be better off instead charging $56 with free shipping (rather than $53 + $3 shipping), for consistency purposes.

      My ABN is 78 674 897 101. I am selling ties on Ozbargain under this business name since August 2014. I have sold over 5000 pieces so it can give you some confidence that I am not going to run away with your money :)

      I used to send ties via paper envelopes and used Australia Post stamps on them. I always used to offer free shipping. Due to increase in Australia Post stamps and also due to losing few parcels(very small business so cannot afford it), I have started using Australia Post satchels since last deal (July 2016). My margin is already very small so I have passed this increase of $3 to end customers. I admit that it's my fault that About Us page and banner on home page page still says "Free Shipping". I will take it off! I trust this helps.

      The ties are pretty poor quality, too. Thin and flimsy. A few of mine have started fraying after only a few wears, and the stiching is coming loose.

      As I mentioned to JV, not everyone is on Ozbargain and many people only want one piece. We receive lot of traffic from referrals and post market stalls. I can vouch quality and if there are any issues then I am always happy to offer replacement/refund.

        Tipu, this comment is very suspicious to me. Sewing a tie takes around an hour by the time you cut, pin, iron and stich - http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Tie - The labour component of making this in Australia would be at least $20 alone, plus the silk fabric which is not cheap.

        Do you mean they are shipped from Australia, or actually made here. If made here, do you have any proof.

          My supplier is based in Australia and they manufacture it here. I did my due diligence before onboarding them. You could appreciate no business is going to share the details of their supplier.

    4th order from these guys, wearing one of their ties right now (I wear ties daily for work :-S). Own plenty of 'expensive' ties and wouldn't know the difference. And for what, $8 a tie, it's a hell of a bargain.
