Just got this phone for my father-in-law. Great phone so far. Also known as ZTE B112. Nice budget 4G phone to gift someone or as a spare phone or can be used as hotspot.

    1gb RAM ? You will have to reboot your phone several times a day when the phone slow to an unacceptable state.
    My Redmi Note 2 has 2GB RAM and I have to reboot 3 times a day when memory is running low.

      Depends on what you're using it for.

      I never reboot my S3, the uptime now showing 4k hours.
      I only use it for whatapps, facebook, camera, gmail, alarm clock, taking notes, etc.

      My Y550 from a previous deal is still going strong with 1gb of ram, I find the lack of internal storage a bigger issue.

        Yeah, found out the hard way. Mine's Redmi Note 3 with 3 GB RAM and most of the time it's sitting around 1.2 GB left with everything cleared.

      Yup. Not sure if it needs to be unlocked thought, Aldi and Boost both use the Tel$tra network. But if it doesn't you can always unlock through eBay.

    I need a cheap phone or similar for a hotspot as we only have 4g intrrnet. This should do fine for that purpose? Or is there something cheaper to be had?
