Split System Air Conditioning Brand Opinions

I'm looking to get split systems installed and unsure of which brand is the better choice so I'm looking for opinions and differences. I require a 3.5kw and 9kw. Looking at your usual brands e.g Fujitsu, Mitsubishi heavy industries, LG, Panasonic

    I have a Fujitsu 9kw at my place. Relatively small house.

    Does a great job of getting the temp down and keeping it down!

    Mitsubishi Heavy Industries do some of the best larger units. They are different from the Mitsubishi Electric brand (as you probably know). I have smaller Panasonic for the bedroom and have found that to be good and quiet also. Both been running flawlessly for 6 or 7 years.

    Panasonic, good quality, good warranty, works well. Has good auto type features.
    Cools and heats our place fine. very quiet.
    They take more moisture out of the air than others, I reckon thats great on humid qld days. You can also set it for mild where it leaves a little more moisture if you like.
    Parents also have one, never had a problem with theirs.
    Bought ours at JB hifi, that dropped the price pretty well and was better than Good Guys, Harvey.

    Find what you want, then hopefully The Good Guys do another 20% off on ebay.
    Then there some really good deals to be had.

    Whatever you choose I'd buy/install from the same place…
    Ringing around I found installation in my area to be almost fixed across 5 I called. $600 + 10% gst….same for TGG

    Reason being, if any problems you are covered.
    If you try and save $50 going with your own installer, then both parties can point the finger at the other and say not my problem
    Problem with the unit? You're installer stuffed it.
    Call the installer, the units stuffed, call the supplier.

        if you are wanting for this Summer, dont wait buy now.
        You will find installers are probably all booked out til Feb (thats how it was last summer for us.)

    Mitsubishi electric
    Appliance central are really cheap
