When you buy a Heineken 5 Litre Keg with your Everyday Rewards card (Free to Apply in Store).

The Heineken 5L Draught Keg has a unique pressurised design. Unlike gravity-fed kegs, beer can be poured from the top, meaning a perfectly poured draught beer every time.
It stays fresh for 30 days from opening so is ideal for parties or a BBQ with friends. This easy to use tap system supplies 18 serves of Heineken beer and is 100% recyclable.

Hurry offer ends Sunday 11 July.

  • woah… thats a bargain. too bad its winter though lol.
this is with the normal everyday rewards card right? not the woolies credit card?

  • where do you buy it, at any safeway?

  • hmmm foamy

  • Great deal! Any idea what states this is?

  • is there another size?
i kinda remeber the ad's saying it serves 30

Now if we could have beer that doesn't taste like arse we will be sorted.

  • This is pretty similar to just buying 1/2 a case at 1/2 the case price.

    • Not quite, its 5L of beer.

So how does this work? You buy with you Everyday? How do you purchase something with this card. Isn't it for fuel and frequent flies only? Or do you mean with you points?

    • +1

Scan the Everyday Rewards card when you make your purchase using cash, EFTPOS or credit.

  • These offers are usually targeted so if you didn't get the email I don't think its likely you will be able to get the discount. This morning I got offered by $30 worth of meat and get extra fuel discount or FF points.

    • Nothing to stop you printing this out and taking it to 1st Choice or Dan Murphys and asking for a price match though.

      • sounds like great idea, anybody tried?

  • How do you refridgerate the thing?

    • +8

you put it in your fridge - you can make space by throwing out veges and salad items.

      • +1

Ah thanks. Never had any use for those veges and salads anyways. Cheers.

100% recycleable means? can you take the empty keg to Homebrewer and get refill?

    • Probably send it to SA for 10c.

  • +1

Oh man Awesome! Hope these are the ones imported from Holland. Tastes so much better than the local "stuff" they make here

    • All kegs are imported mate :)

  • For shame. I went to try this before the OP edited that it was targeted only. I tried to sign up there, but instead they told me I could only do it online (not in-store, contrary to the OP). I ran to the internet kiosk since there was only one keg left, and paid a couple bucks to sign up on the Everyday Rewards site, but of course, scanning the temp card and the keg did nothing. I guess I’ll wait and see if they send me a targeted e-mail before the 11th. I suppose nothing beats those $10 off coupons I used so many of a few weeks back.

    • The screen grab that the OP has done omitted the terms and conditions located at the end of that email. It would have something like "This offer is only valid to Everyday Rewards Card Number xxxxxxxxx".

  • Wow this would be really useful

  • I LOVE BEER… Positive from davo!

  • not a fan of this keg, too much time is wasted waiting for the froth to go back to beer. Cant handle such small beers, I like the price though

    • Learn to poor beer.

    • When you pour the beer from this keg, angle your glass so that the beer runs down the side (have the spout actually touching the inside of the glass).

I bought one of these when they had the $10 off coupon last month - whacked it in an esky with a block of ice made from a 4l ice cream container. Sadly the wife would let me throw food out of fridge to fit it in.

I might buy one through this deal (got the email from Woolies).

      • I actually threw out some lettuce and stuff to fit the keg in the fridge.

The first glass I poured had a huge head but after that it was all good.

  • What state is this for? I got an email from woolies yesterday saying that I can get double points, but nothing about a Heineken keg. I'm guessing it's for Victoria only?

    • I'm from Victorian and spending a couple of days in Canberra and was able to get this deal at Woolworths in Dickson ACT. The bloke selling it was very impressed at the price that I could buy it at.

  • It's actually not that good of deal. If you work it out.5 litres of beer equates to 13.3 schooners ie 5000ml/375ml=13.3 beers. Then you divide $22.99 by 13.3 & that equates to $1.73 a beer which you can say is pretty good anyway. But if you were to buy a case of beer (lets say Extra Dry) for $32. Then means for $32 you get 24 beers & that equates to $1.33 a beer. Now thats even better if you ask me.

    • But that's Tooheys, which tastes like crap.

I guess it won't matter if your bogan
