FREE Ozstock Day: Vehicle Reverse Beeping Alarm + Shipping

20

FREE Ozstock Day today, you just pay for the p & h as usual, we will take care of the rest!

Every year, accidents occur in the driveway while vehicles are reversing because of poor or no rear view. Even only one accident is far too many! This simple and yet effective little device will definitely reduce the potential risks a great deal!

Audible beeps alert anyone in the reversing path that vehicle is backing up!

No wiring, no tools, just stick on!

This alarm is an ingeniously simple device that should be fitted to every car!

No wiring or tools are required - it simply sticks onto your reverse light! A tiny sensor in the Reverse Alarm is triggered when your reverse light comes on. The Reverse alarm then beeps to let anyone in your reversing path know that you are about to move. Driving carefully has always been essential, but now you can be confident that pedestrians are just as careful! Ideal for 4x4s, vans and cars of all shapes and sizes.

(This device should NOT be relied on as the ONLY reverse safety measure, common sense should be exercised and normal care should be taken when reversing!!)

Features:

  • Loud beeps alert anyone that vehicle is reversing
  • No wiring, no tools, just stick-on
  • Durable battery

Hint 1: For some models of cars, before you stick it on, you may need to turn on the reverse light and trial it to find the best spot that will activate the alarm.

Hint 2: For better effect, use at least one on each and every reverse light of your vehicle.

    annoying at best

  • can't it just be stolen off you car, if it's just stick on!

    • +3

You assuming someone would steal it :)

  • So as it is attached to the Reversing Lights, it also blocks the Reversing Light to a certain extent. This could have ramifications for your car insurance policy if the Insurer believes you have modified the vehicle and reduced the effectiveness of the lights.

  • Isn't this one of those beeping things that trucks and vans have on the back so you know they're coming? I doubt it has any legitimate regular use for normal motorists.

  • lol at this fail design

Oh great! Now driveway toddlers will be attracted to the beeping noise. How clever.

  • Yeah this doesn't do anything for the driver. It just warns pedestrians that you are about to reverse, that's all.

    • +2

and since half of the pedestrians would be on their iPods they wouldn't care anyways :)

  • For less than the shipping cost you could buy a high pitched beeper and wire it into your car.
Plus you wouldn't be obstructing your lights.

Hmm mine has one built in its called a horn

  • One of our neighbours has it on his 4X4 and reverses out at about 6am on weekdays and about 8am on weekends - this drives (pun intended) me crazy.

  • Sounds like something to get on your neighbour's nerves… :D

  • Terrible, terrible idea.

Call me stupid (Please dont. I'm very fragile.), but I can't think of any benefit to the average user - especially if it could potentially void your insurance.
