WARNING: Do NOT Buy from Expressonlinestore/EXPOnline (FRAUDULENT)

Hi guys, just wanted to let you all know that http://stores.ebay.com.au/expressonlinestore are infact selling fraudulent products.

I purchased "TWO BRAND NEW SEALED" iPhones from them earlier this year, after they have both shut down, and started malfunctioning, we have had them analysed, and most of the parts inside are old, and in fact they are selling refurbished phones.

The screws on the bottom have been replaced with ones that cant be taken out so you are not able to find out the phones are refurbed iPhones that have stopped working in the past and have been fixed with parts.

WARNING FOR ALL OZBARGAIN USERS + GENERAL PUBLIC:

Do NOT use expressonlinestore;

      http://stores.ebay.com.au/expressonlinestore
      http://exponline.com.au/index.php.

They have not got back to me after months, even though I have a "2 year warranty" and ignored all of our efforts to contact.

These guys are complete SCAMS.

I assume you did a paypal dispute?

    • Probably too late for that

      • thats a bugger.
Good that you have listed here as a warning.

        180 days you have.

Don't think it really needs a warning with this feedback

    • geez, you wouldnt buy with that feedback.

Oh congratulations for clicking the "negative feedback only" button - 97.1% feedback across a few thousand sales ain't that bad at all.

      • Because a lot of people don't think/care to actually leave negative feedback, so it's always important to check it.

Seller isn't a Power Seller because of their feedback score… so yeah, it's not exactly great feedback

  • Yeah for sure guys, my dad purchased the phones, a first time eBay user.

    180 days has passed.

I rang PayPal, they said they will get in contact with the Consumer Affairs organisations and what not, clearly nothing has been done there as I'm sure hundreds of other people have heard the same thing. How can these guys keep doing this for. Terrible stuff.

    • Was PayPal used to charge a credit card? If so, can you do a charge back?

Okay so this is kind of BS.

Firstly Apple use proprietary screws on the bottom of the phone so you can't get your idiotic little hands in there for pseudo-'analysis'.

Quick question: If the screws in the bottom of the phone couldn't be removed (as you suggest), how could they have been analysed (again, as you suggested)?

Post receipt of any third party performing any analysis on the phones. Otherwise you're just talking shit.

    • I am very sorry to hear that you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.

Um yeah also, I don't take the time of day to come onto OzBargain and make up shit to stir a pot.

How does physically ripping the bottom of the phone sound? Because that's how it eventuated.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have some affiliation with these guys…

      • Tin foil hat off mate - no affiliation to the business - feel free to continue baselessly calling their company "fraudulent" lol

        • Just so you know, I have taken the phones to Apple 4 times. 4 times I have spoken to them I have been informed the phones are in fact refurbs.

Not sure about you, but selling something that isn't as described for a monetary value if intact 'fraudulent'.

Do I need to provide more 'base' for your claims of 'baselell(ness)', please let me know xx.
