Came across this deal when searching for a few 3D blu-ray movies. Thought it was pretty decend price for local stock with free shipping within Australia.

Nah. I searched back in history to find the original post. However I realised my error. The guy that got me a deal on the TV and the Avatar bundle was on Whirlpool instead.
So thanks to MaximPrime on whirlpool for his bargaining power and posting the receipt so I could get my copy of Avatar 3d and sell it for $120 at the time. :) Got an awesome TV with Bluray Hometheatre kit and 3d glasses etc (which I even actually used a couple of times)
Ha, yeah I got a few deals from whirlpool too before I found this place. Nice price on the TV, so that was what, $1400 for a 50" plasma with bluray player?
I bought a P50G10a about a year before that for almost $2K. Those where the dark days, before I discovered the cheap side of the force. It broke recently actually.. about 6 months outside the extended warranty :(Remember to clean the dust out of yours if you're still using it! A can of compressed air could have saved me $400 on a buying a new, inferior replacement tv

What blew up on your TV? Power supply? Did you chuck it or try to fix it?

Nah, still got it, just haven't taken the time to open it up yet. But given it was used for 6 hours a day constantly in rarely vacuumed room, there's a good chance it was a combination of heat and dust that did it

Nice price considering their eBay store has it at $19.10 delivered and the cheapest on 3xCamel has been £7.96 about AU$13.40 and that's not including delivery.
While Zavvi is over the top at AU$36.52 and JB Hi-Fi at $28.79 and even that price is with JBs' current 20% discount that ends Sunday
