    Maybe, check the input lag and some reports say while its a 10bit panel, it doesnt get bright enough for good hdr. Still a very good price for what it is providing you dont care too much about HDR.

  Close but no cigar yet. The 'normal' price of this TV on the JBH website has fluctuated between 2498 and 2998 in recent times. They recently jacked it up to 2998 again and now offering a $700 discount. They can talk to me when it's another $500 or so cheaper.

    I think with the advent of positive reviews and demand for these panels, it is resisting the gradual price reductions that we see from other panels from other manufacturers. They realised that they don't need to decrease the price for the m7000s because there is a steady demand.

    Maybe but hopefully not…I too am waiting for the 70" to go down to about $1600-1700 before I pull the trigger. Hopefully we don't have to wait until next year but it's looking like it :(

    I also reckon the price has been steady because GG has been bought out by JB and thus less competition.

  A mate has looked into this panel and has suggested it is a DLED panel (Direct LED), not an ELED(Edge Lit LED). DLED is normally in the more expensive TVs and better than ELED as the lesser quality ELED can cause shadows and dark spots towards the middle of the panel.
