Philips DiamondClean All Colours: $244 (after $50 Philips Cashback) @ Myer

30

Thanks to JoFord63.

Buy 3x$100 Myer giftcards with 2 Amex cards(three transactions. $100 two times and 2x$50 transaction with two cards).

You will end up $330 gift cards with 2X$35 back from Amex. & There is $50 cash back from Philips as well.

You will end up spending $180 and $36 gift card balance left.

Edit: Seem like my method is not acceptable.

Plus $50 cashback via redemption from Philip

Interesting method but the rest seems non product specific

This is the worst deal I saw on oz bargain.$244 is the normal price.

Usually, for DiamondClean, $170-$180 is a good deal, $140-170 is a better deal, $129-140 is the best deal.

  • There's no meaningful advantage over the basic versions of these vibrating brushes besides fancy design and some unnecessary modes.

Also, my dentist is of the opinion automatic brushes do a poor job of cleaning under the gums (the bristles don't clean in the pocket region where your gums meet your teeth) and recommends a manual brush (TePe Supreme) with particularly long bristles that do this well. I have to say, I've used it for a while now and tend to agree that it does a better job than the previous Sonicare I used.

One meaningful advantage is the diamondclean uses Li-Ion batteries, which has a much longer usable lifetime than NiMH.

      • Fair point. I actually had a couple fail due to water seeping in so I never got to the point that mattered. This was around the time I found manual brushes seemed to do a better cleaning job for me.

Anyway the markup for these models still seems a bit much in my mind. You can get a refurbished brush handle for around $50 on eBay, hard to justify the price difference if you're okay with refurbished.
