  • Can we use Harvey Norman gift cards to purchase their gift card?

    • I'm just going to say no.. that would be like going into Chadstone shopping centre and trying to use a coles gift card to buy a Chadstone gift card.. also only once have I seen a company allow people to buy gift cards with gift cards, usually you can't because it extends the expiry :)

      • I'm pretty sure azm is just trolling.

        • +1

Possibly.. but I wouldn't put it past people to ask such a question. I've heard worse lol.

        • No I am serious since I thought about Using AMEX deal to buy HN gift cards. I knew Gift card will not qualify to buy as per T&C

        • @azm: Try it.

  • "Where can a Springvale Homemaker Centre gift card be used?

A Springvale Homemaker Centre gift card can be used at any retailer in the centre where EFTPOS is accepted."

"Give the perfect gift for that special homemaker in your life, a Springvale Homemaker Centre Gift Card.

With everyone’s favourite brands under one roof, including Harvey Norman, Domayne, IKEA, JB Hi-Fi and Anaconda just to name a few, a Springvale Homemaker Centre Gift Card is the perfect choice!

I think it may be a similar style of card as the VISA gift cards. It would be valid at Ikea :)

    • Glad you cleared that up 🙃

  • 24Hrs after and the cards are still not loaded / activated with $100…
But funny thing is the $20 cards were already loaded and active for use

    • That's annoying, I guess it's so people don't use the card straight away.

    • So confirming the card can be used at IKEA?

      • I asked the concierge, she said yes.

  • Got one today. There was no mention of the 500 limit. It's still on, or it hasn't been reached yet.

Do note there is a $2 fee. So it's really only an $18 free card. I don't know if this is a credit card surcharge or if there's a card activation charge. They do not accept cash payment. Not sure if EFTPOS can avoid the $2 fee.
