        I seem to recall it was a few promos back. Just seems more and more with gift cards there are multiple options to click on/thru (and certainly with ShopBack at least they 100% screw you).

      PSA: If you have no bonus GC instantly after purchase in email, send Customer Service (CS) a message, they will fix and resend the bonus GC instantly.

      Sometimes there are issues with the bonus GC being received or activated, its auto-generated on their side, i spoke to a CS agent, they just resent it to me and reset the pin for it, and its all good now.

    Anyone else have trouble paying on Prezzee? I tried PayPal, Apple Pay and plain credit card number. None worked, just said couldn't be processed. Haven't bought from Prezzee in ages, but I remember this happening before with them. Just can't remember how I got it working.

      I tried twice yesterday with Paypal in 4 from my phone and it didn't work, it got almost to the end and was just spinning. Paypal is still holding both as "Authorisation". Today I tried from a desktop browser and it worked fine.

      The only fuel options I could see were:

    Bought this today and got the $150 + $10 Black Friday bonus. Then I had to create a prezzee account to add it to add it to my wallet.

    After adding the cards and checking my wallet again, I saw I got a welcome bonus, $10 off with $50 smart egift card purchase.

    Well, not great experience:
    1. Ordered 1 $150 GC last night, received it instantly, but never received the bonus $10 GC. Had to chat with Customer Care this morning, spent 20 mins, finally got th bonus GC. Not too bad.
    2. This arvo, trying to order another since (Limit 2 Per Account); PayPal seems went through as normal, but got email saying "We couldn't process your order". Had to chat with CC again for another 15 mins, only got told "Upon checking, we found that the transaction was rejected due to our fraud prevention measures. To ensure your security, we are escalating this issue to our Security and Fraud Team for further investigation.", and "Please note that any refund related to this transaction will be processed and should reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.".

    Come on Prezzee!

      Lots of independent service stations are implementing the ugo model were you just pay at the browser or terminal rather than in person? There are some around Sydney selling petrol for about $1.60 for premium 98 the past few weeks? It seems to go up to $1.75 in the daytime but the evenings are cheap.

          Ampol's proposed buyout of EG Ampol is expected to see EG Ampol in Dickson and Tuggeranong sold off (amongst others outside Canberra) and 125 other EG Ampol service stations eventually converted into U-GO service stations (and you would think some in Canberra and Queanbeyan would be converted, e.g. Mawson or Wanniassa), so that may make the Canberra market slightly less uncompetitive over time.

          The bizarre thing is that the Ampol Foodary at Canberra Airport has in recent weeks suddenly decided it wants to be the cheapest in Canberra for U91 and U95 (even before accounting for Ampol Foodary discount offers), so if either of those are your fuel of choice and you are near the airport, yay? Outside of the airport area though, petrol prices are a joke.

            @WookieMonster: Thanks Wookie, interesting. Just noticed their prices today after buying these gcs and saw they were much cheaper than even Costco. Even more surprising is that they're only 6cpl dearer than my country reference - APCO IGA in Wagga (ALWAYS far cheaper than Canberra).

            Airport is where I usually fill up (~150l gives me options) when they're competitive - which is more often than not the case, but over the last 6 months they've disappointed a few times so I've shopped at Metro. Not happy with the prospect that I'm probably indirectly supporting Putin when I buy at AMPOL tho.
