Which Touch Screen Laptop Shall I Go for?

I'm looking to buy a touch screen laptop. Don't need fancy stuff just a basic one which can do some work, like run lightroom for photo management.
Surface pro M3 looks good, but too expensive. Also don't like it's keyboard.

Any other recommendations ?

  • Older model Surface.

    • The surface isn't a laptop though. I don't remember using my surface as a 'laptop', in the sense that the keyboard is inferior to an actual laptop (not comfortable to type on for long periods) and there isn't enough ports to use it as a comfortable workstation (i can't for example, hook up a mouse, a USB drive, a phone and a scanner at the same time unless I bring a USB hub).

It's a good two-in-one, great for the inking feature, portable enough to be used on the train and on the plane, but still far from providing the experience as a laptop.

The Zenbook Flip was a great alternative however the deal has ended. There's also the Dell Inspiron 2-in-1

  • Thanks.
But Dell Inspiron is not good with a pen. Surface pro offers a great pen/Stylus that can be very helpful to my son who likes drawing/painting.
