ANZ cards work with Android Pay, which might cover some people.

I have been using Android pay and had no issues at all with ANZ.
In fact ANZ mobile app is far worse than android pay in my opinion.
But i do agree with Samsung having to add more banks…
ANZ mobile app never worked, had it installed for like 6 months. Then they moved to android pay, which I only got if i forgot my wallet, but every time I've used it, it has worked perfectly

Nope, the Myer one. Already got the Wollies one from last week. I do use Samsung Pay (used it this morning before I saw this deal) but def didn't use it after.

I was able to install on my S6 edge from Optus.
Tried to use Samsung pay at couple of dfo outlets in Sydney..didn't work at either and machine kept giving some error message..
May b they dont accept amex
they accepted amex..could it be an issue with their pay terminal?
Did you click on the "PIN" button and enter your pin before each tap?
Is your NFC settings defaulting to samsung pay and/or the app which is currently loaded and not another one?
@Turd: hey mate..default is Samsung pay on NDC setting..i didn't enter pin prior to taping the phone..are u meant to enter pin prior to each tap?

You must click "Pin" button then enter Pin and it will give you 30 seconds to do the tap/transaction otherwise it will timeout and you must enter pin again.
Kinda like a safeguard incase someone knocks u over and steals you phone whilst u are holding it.
Also read the instructions on how to use it aka FTFM it will show you. :)
It is different to Android pay where you just click on the card and tap away (kinda insecure in the case of someone knocking u and stealing ur fone)

our Samsung S5 906 is NFC compatible. Why not this one showing on their list?
It doesnt support Samsung Pay, you cant install it.
Not sure what their reason is, perhaps lacks the Knox security? I think there was a password exploit revealed in that era?
Installed app on my non-Samsung phone, and it gets stuck "initialising". :-( Back to Android Pay and no $10.

I have actually successfully side-loaded apps made by phone makers before. They flag them as only compatible with their own models in the Play Store, but that does not necessarily mean they will not work.

Worked for me.. dont forget to activate the offer in the app. Then get a code in the app to activate the myer giftcard download
I made a purchase earlier without activating it. But after i got home i found the activate link and once i went thru the process got the giftcard straight away. Not sure if u even have to make a purchase
I activated the offer and have used samsung pay twice now but haven't got anything yet. I did use my gear s2 rather than the phone itself though. It's still samsung pay though.
