Yeah it's not that great deal

  • Coles Ultra 6 in 1 tablets are ~$0.16 each every day of the week. So are Aldi Logix 10 in 1. And they were both scored as good as or higher than Fairy Platinum by Choice. So I'm still here asking why people are always freaking out over "premium" brand tablet specials.

Is it a status thing? Like how some people only shop at Myer and don't like to be seen in K-Mart or Target?

    Then again, "Fairy": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LRcmg9mxRQ

    Heh.

From memory I thought the Fairy Platinum were near the top of the Choice review.

      • They scored 60% in the last Choice roundup: https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/kitchen/dishwasher…

I'm not saying that their testing methods are above reproach though. No-one's would be, entirely. What's most important is your own experience I think, so long as you're paying attention.

We've probably been using Coles Ultra 6 in 1 and/or Woolworths Select All in 1 (also ~$0.16 each) for about a year now. The dishes are always properly clean (and I often put plates and bowls with caked on bits of cereal or gravy or whatever in there without a rinse), and the inside of the dishwasher looks like it did the day we first had it installed. I rinse out the filter occasionally of course, but even that takes a while to accumulate any significant degree of anything.

        • Thanks. It must of been an older choice review I was thinking of.

  • I tried these last week on the half price Woolworths deal and they work as well as the finish quantum, so back to Coles this week and stocked up on the half price deal. They are around $7.50/20 at Coles
