Choose the "try for free" option on the page to get episode 1 of the new season of Telltale's Walking Dead game for free.

Edit:
It is the full game and you earn achievements even though you select "try for free."

  Thanks, I've chosen the 'Try for free' option and it now says 'You now own this trial'.

  Haven't downloaded it yet (at work), but wondering if its a full version or a demo (trial)?

    I'm wondering this as well as Episode 1 is $10 in AU. This game is an insta-buy for me (loved the first two seasons) and would be happy to buy the season pass only if I can get away with it :)

    That being said, Episode 1 WILL eventually become free (it always does) if this is not the full thing.

      Mine quit on me after half an hour and said my trial had ended, as it does with any other Xbone trial. You're sure about this?

  Sweet, sure do hope it works. I'm holding on this time for the season pass disc. As much as I (profanity) hate that they only put an episode or two on the disc at launch, I'd feel weird with the first two having been rebought on disc on PS4 but not the third. Plus I'm hoping for Michonne to get thrown in or something, especially since it did with the preorder of the season pass.

  Anyway, thanks OP, this will surely make the wait for it's February release even harder.

  DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS!!!

  IT'S JUST A STANDARD HALF HOUR TRIAL OF EPISODE ONE.

  I got the first achievement and got to the junk yard before the game quit on me. I thought it was just a typical Telltale crash but it then told me my trial had expired and I had to go buy the game if I wanted to keep playing.

  This is how Xbox does trials. I did one for the Tron infinite runner the other day, popped a couple of chivos, had fun, and then after half an hour it quit on me.

  (profanity) bugger too, was just getting into it.
