  • How about normal SD?

    • Use an adapter. MicroSD always comes in cheaper.

PS I have not checked this deal, but Sandisk often comes with the adapter.

      • Is there any disadvantages to using an adapter?

        • Probably a chance of a mechanical problem, but I have not noticed any issue.

This page: http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/Boxing-Day-Marathon-Sale-D… says that the 64GB micro sd goes on sale at 8pm on the 27th. Also of note is the 128GB micro sd that goes on sale at 2pm on the 27th.

    • Only 100 available 8pm 27/12
      Deal description needs updating.

  • what class would this one be?
Does anyone know if it will be good for Sony A6000

    • +1

The a6000 doesn't require a high-speed card, so it'll work fine. The only difference is if you take lots of burst shots, it'll take longer to flush the buffer with a slower card.

The a6300 works fine with any standard card too, unless you're using the high-bitrate video modes.

  • Note that 128GB card are really slow compared to 64GB

    • Same as the Sandisk 128GB OTG drive. It's a piece of crap.

    • How come?

  • Is this suitable for an A119 dash cam sitting in the sun? or should I keep waiting for another SD Card deal?

    • +1

      Why not. It's cheap.

  • Class 10 cards work fine for DSLRs and action cameras unless high-bitrate video or rapid buffer flushing is required.

This. Best to get an MLC card if you're going to run it on a dashcam, unless you don't care about reliability of course.

    • I recently learnt this the hard way, card failed with saved videos. Then looking for a replacement I found articles everywhere advising to only use MLC in dash cams. They also explicitly said DO NOT use Sandisk ultra.

    • What an odd page. While I have no doubt Ultra's could be dodgey, the findings and statements are bizarre. Maybe the website owner is very young?

  • why class 10 is not good for DSLR or action cam?

    • Higher writespeed may be required depending on what you're doing. If you shoot jpeg on your dslr, the file size will be small. If you shoot raw, the file sizes will be much higher

  • good for my Wii U

  • I'm after a couple of cards for my dad to use in his Garmin GPS Maps 64st handheld navigator. Would these cards be ok ? To store the birds eye maps on.

    • Those will be fine, if they are geniune one

  • Any chance of some lower capacity cards going on sale (or even just free shipping)?

  • Well where's the deal? It's 5:02 here in WA bring it on!!!

    • hah i'm also waiting. missed the other microsd deal earlier in the day

      • When I add it to the cart, it shows $19, but now it's got $10 shipping on it.

        This sux!

    • its live now, add it to your cart and you will see the price as $19. Just bought one thanks op.

      • OK, the $10.80 gets discounted again all good.

Tried ordering another one on the same account (maximum one per order GRRR!), but on the second one it absolutely doesn't allow you the free delivery.

  • Add to cart and it goes 19, including delivery. Just bought ….thanks OP

  • LOL tried to order another one as my son, then I was going to do daughter etc.

    All gone already!

I got one, the wife got one, so 2 total.

I actually needed five and been waiting for a deal. Oh well.
