Because that's what most shoe stores in Australia and online use. Australia is too small of a market to have its own measurement system. Sometimes size guides mention AU sizes, but it really just mirrors US or UK sizes.
24 million pairs of feet is not enough to have their own sizes?
Why bother? You can usually find UK, US, EU and cm. Why add more? People get confused enough already. Less is more. 24 million is a blip on the global radar.
@ilikeit: Many times it is fine. Few cases, you have to find out what is default shoe size for that site. Better if we take UK size as standard for AU. US has everything else like date format, length, etc. different compared to Au.

@eve: Don't know about Juvenates. However, Roshes have a cult following and are considered a superior 'fashion' shoe that is very versatile. That's why you will find nearly exact replicas in Kmart, target, Fila etc. Their simplicity is their draw card. Honestly though, they aren't particularly comfortable with their hard sole and lack of support. Free Runs are another level up I guess. They are a fashion/exercise shoe and definitely more comfortable. Not great for running, but again very versatile. Last year Rebel had them around XMAS and BD for $100 from $160.

Agree, get the free runs if you wan't, or go try a pair of the adidas boosts. I personally think the comfort is on a whole another level.
Thanks! I've found it quite frustrating learning about the category of fashion sport shoe. I just want a shoe that I can wear for exercise and gym. Fashion is quite secondary to protecting my ankles and knees. How can you tell these days?
@eve: Juvenates have a stretchy mesh like fabric which is kind of like a slip on shoe that molds to your foot. Juvenates have no support on most areas so they're only for walking and casual shoes but they're super comfy. Frees are a solid shoe, lots of support, great for running and everyday wear. Roshes are in between where they half-half. With the Kaishi, no idea about it but just a lesser known model where close to no one buys.

Because something I've found when trying to split payments across multiple AMEX cards is, at many merchants, they don't accept Paypass for AMEX or even PIN. They ask for signature.
Do all 8 of your cards have the same signature but different names? Or different names and different signatures?

Yeah. I am regretting not getting any gift cards now. I rarely ever buy anything from rebel with all the deals here better than them. Oh well money saved anyway
I'm a fan of Kaishi's and Roshe's and have both and bought the Roshe 2 recently (for hubby and I)….it is quite a good upgrade (way more comfy) barring one thing. They've changed the bit under where you lace up your shoes and the backing to one piece and it sits higher than normal. When I wear them they always cuts into the back of my feet :( If they had kept it as separate pieces and lower, they would be perfect (for me)! These Kaishi 2 look to have the same upgrade. Hubby doesn't have the same issue as me though so maybe it's just an individual thing (or cos I'm short lol)

Got a pair this morning.
Warning to everyone, great shoes but sizing is a bit strange. I had to go 2 sizes bigger than normal.
It looks nice, was gonna buy 1 but it was too soft… Feels like I could rip it within a day if I really wanted to.
Sizing was still the same for me but it's probably because of the uk/us measurements.So did I!
I ordered size 9 (US) online and I couldn't even get half my foot in the shoe.
I returned them to the store today and get size 11 (US)
