Asus UX310UA Vs UX305ca

The ux310ua costs $1179 and has a 6th gen i5, 512GB ssd, 8gb ram and a 13.3" FHD TN display. The UX305ca costs $999 and has an m3-6y30, 256gb SSD, 8gb ram and a 13.3" qhd+ touch screen is display. What one do you think I should jump on? Or is there a better deal on another ultra book. I will mainly use it for word processing, coding, spreadsheet, and other school things. And also a bit of light gaming. Please explain your answer in the comments.

asus says 7th gen intel, is it an older model you are looking at? (310UA)

i like the 305, lighter and thinner and for school would be perfectly fine (like the mac book size) battery life is great too.

the 310 is a bit more powerful but heavier and thicker (but still fine for school, like mac air size)

either would be fine, have a look in store and see what one you like. also check what ports they have , one might have a port you need.

  • Do you mind a refurb?
I bought from these guys a couple times over the past 2 years, haven't had a problem.

I gave my sis UX305CA-DQ060T and she is using it for school and Dota 2, albeit with low graphic settings.
Please note that ultrabook can't beat laptop with dedicated graphics card if you want proper gaming (i.e. decent graphics).

And get i5 or i7; don't get Intel M series - these have longer battery life but a bit worse on the gaming.
