Expensive rent. High commission for middleman. I think those machines on eBay work similar as those you see in the shopping center.Just be aware of those super high power rate machines on eBay( My friend bought one from eBay and the seller states the motor of his machine motor is 600W and 2 months later the seller changed his listing to 2000W!!!! for the same machine). I guess prices vary depending on their design, functions and raw material(e.g. Plate material).
Are they clinically proven to be the same as the 30 Min Swim/200 Sit ups/60 Min Jogging/30 Min Yoga etc? How is this determined?

They work the same but the TV one has a lower profile and has wheels to help move it. Not worth the extra $s
These are great if you have circulation problems, but I think the adds on TV are very misleading. In my opinion they may help for muscle toning but you could get the same result from isometric exercises.same result
