Wearing one here too. Very accurate heart rate monitor and sleep tracking. Battery life is amazing. Probably is around 4 weeks.

so convinient to watch the time!!! wearing one now

  • I got one recently and was wondering if any other users are experiencing poor battery life? From most reports it has great battery life 3-4weeks but mine is struggling to last 3-4days. MOst probably a faulty device.

    • I get 20days of battery life, maybe try out a firmware update.

I had exactly the same issue. Contacted GearBest and after some negotiating they offered to send a replacement or refund.

      • That's good to know because otherwise they are a great device. I have purchased another one from a different seller and will contact gearbest to try and organise a refund.

  • how is the software for the xiaomi mi band?

    • I have setup mine to notifications from emails, Phone calls and SMS. The new update just added contract details on incoming calls to display on the watch.

  • Wearing one right now. An awesome band…the battery lasts 3-4 weeks… I like the feature of displaying time and date when I lift my wrist.

Got one last deal about same $s. Great little unit. Great battery life. Only downside is HR is only when prompted. No passive HR like with fitbit charge HR etc. So hard to track workouts etc with it…

Still a great deal and a great basic unit.

    • does it track calories burnt? the website advertises that it does but other review sites say that it doesnt

      • Calculates calories based on steps. Very basic. And basic BMR calorie calculation… so doesn't counter in fat to muscle ratios etc.

Better than nothing but wouldnt love and die by it.

    • Automatic HR is possible via one of the third party apps…google is your friend.. :)

  • Thanks OP, got two!

  • I ordered one in mid October from Gearbest and it arrived just before Xmas. And this was even after paying a bit extra for expedited shipping.

    • Too good to be true? Seller only 35 ratings. Aren't the rest above $30?

Based on the seller and their feedback (and the price) I'd suggest not buying that one on ebay.

  • Even without the code, $30.50 is good enough for me, thanks

  • I think I posted a deal previously for the band but I have to say I have mixed feelings about it (wearing it now). I thought I'd upgrade from 1S Pulse so I'd get the display but the 2 seems way less accurate at tracking sleep which is a bit weird. It doesn't detect "awake" times at all compared to the 1S which was spot on.

Great band for ~$22, main reason for changing was the display/clock, but overall I'm a bit unimpressed. Regardless it's a good trial in wearable gadgets with minimal spend so if you are considering getting one it's a good starting point.

Using the previous 1s, and finding it to be great.

Curious to know from other users, what sort of sleep stats are you getting?

    • +1

I thought the sleep stats were better on the 1S, with that one I got 1.5-3hr "deep sleep" out of 7-9hr sleep, where as the band 2 gives me 0h to 45min deep sleep. It also registered times when I got up to go to the loo or tend to kids if they woke up where as the band 2 doesn't seem to.

Deep sleep wise that might be circumstantial but it's annoying that the 2 doesn't report the awake for periods throughout the night like the 1S did.

      • I am a shift worker and the sleep thing does not register during the day

        • I sleep at night, can't help you there. A quick google shows others having the same issue so hopefully they will fix it eventually so you can set the sleep cycle to fit your requirements.
