Why did I check out ozbargins, now I want one.
The D3** line from Nikon is generally considered the best beginners DSLR on the market. If you're genuinely wanting to get into photography as a hobby this is a great first step.
I have a Sony A57 that's a few years old now. I don't know much about DSLRs; would you know if this Nikon is a worthwhile upgrade in terms of features and picture quality?

The D3300 and D3400 are virtually indistinguishable from each other, you could get a very decent price for it unopened on eBay.
