i thought it's not consider as freebie if there's P&H fee? correct me if i'm wrong… then i'll remove my neg…

  • its not free there is a hidden fee as above comment P&H fee

  • hello Guys, thanks for the comments.

the $2.50 is to cover the postage and packaging for the orders. the total cost (wages, labour, packaging is much more than this).

you will see that this item would usually sell for $14.95 ($10 product + $4.95 postage).

    thanks.

    • Thanks. That's a positive from me. ("…you only need 2 more 'yes' and you move to the next round. Simon, Paula? Anyone…?")

This is a good deal BUT Docpods - adjust the title to include postage of $2.50. People who see deals need to see the item price and shipping deal. Also put in the description the shipping cost.

In future you would be better off just offering a product at a flat rate price including free shipping. Makes it much easier.

  • hidden fee, not free at all!

    • well then there's never ever a real freebie: consider your internet connection, the computer, the time invested in obtaining a deal… Personally I reckon $2.50 for postage is more than fair. And I still consider the article a freebie since the postage doesn't pay the company but the delivery, eg Australia Post.

Compare to the Jarrah coffee offer. The Jarrah coffee people are still having to pay for postage, etc. which goes to Australia post. But what did it cost me? Nothing. No postage, no product price. That is what I call a 'freebie'. Paying for postage is not 'freebie'. Sure, the item is free, but the postage is not free to me. Therefore, 'Free, plus postage of $2.50' in the title would be fine, and all these criticisms would go away.

Far out, it's only freaking $2.50 compared to $14.95.. just use your loose change (or find it on the street), don't be so stingy, not everything free these days.
    Good deal btw docpods!

    • If $2.50 is 'nothing', then surely it won't hurt to mention it in the title?

  • I think postage at $2.5 this is still a good deal, but please include the postage in the title.

  • Seems like a good deal to me & im happy to pay for Postage ;)

  • good deal
but should note in title at postage is 2.5

    booo
i wanna get 5 and get 10% off 0 dollars!
    not happy LOL

  • I'm going to give it a try. =)

  • Give the guy/girl/docpods a break and cut them a little slack. Have we all become so tight fisted that we want/expect it to be free? They were obviously so focused on getting the website in the tile (which is unnecessary by the way docpods) that they didn't mention the added postage. Also docpods the expiry date you set on the ozbargain site doesn't match with the 2 week expiry you have written in the body. Ask yourself this question instead, "Is is a bargain or not?"

    • Still waiting for my heel cups ref #2162 (6 weeks) and no reply to e-mails.

    hello guys,
the +ve comments are much apprecaited.
i have adjusted the listing as suggested.
i look forward to offering you more deals over the next few weeks :)
    thanks.

    • got mine yesterday… the instructions weren't clear about removing the protective layer… apparently there are 2 of them on each. I'm getting used to them, but so far, quite comfy. Thanks.
