They moved some people at the front of the line into the theatre and consolidated the line.

    • I'd been keen for this!! :D

Someone's just come from the back of the line and done a count - they're at 750 people as of 7:40 am. Apparently the queue heads from Spring St, down Little Bourke to Exhibition and back onto Bourke St!

    • apparently the count is 930 at the corner of spring and parliament

      • Assuming 2 tickets (only) per person that suggests that its all gone(?)

Free coffee and kk donuts at the front. Probs just for people who got here before midnight though.

    • The donuts just went as far as Liverpool Street. Nice one, producers :D

    • I'm at 290…. free doughnut and coffee just arrived.

Donuts have reached the end of the line, at the front of theatre. I feel like they are buttering is up for the inevitable let down

  • I heard they've closed the q.

  • 11:30 am and the end of the queue is still around the block onto Bourke St. Coffee and doughnuts still being given out.

    • is the end on the corner of bourke/spring or bourke/exhibition?
i am close to chinatown and no donuts in sight!

      • the end was a bit west of Liverpool/Bourke. Coffee and doughnuts were on Little Bourke closer to the front of the queue.

Edit: actually the doughnuts may have only been on the corner of Spring/Lt Bourke.

  • Just about to turn the corner into Spring Street. I'm guessing another 1 hour to go… the queue snakes on itself at the front. Ahhh!

Made it out alive! Got there at 12.30am, got out at 11.30am. That was crazy. I can still feel the pavement. After 10am we had to stand, it was very slow though. Only two cashiers.

Good job! We just had a girl come out and tell us that we'd definitely get tickets, but some people at the end of the line who miss out will be able to get $40 tickets for a later date. She also said it'd be another hour or two for us…

      Any NAME on the ticket?

      • +2

No name on the tickets but I had to show ID and provide phone number. The receipt has my name on it. I waited 10 hours, from around the 500 people mark - 6 am to 4 pm. It'd better be worth it!
