Need a New Mobile/Tablet - Old Mobile Died

Hi all.

I've been looking for a good value for money tablet for a little while.

Wouldn't you know it but my mobile phone stopped charging this morning and is now basically dead.

Now I'm on the market for a tablet and a mobile phone (on a budget) and came across this almost 6.5 inch mobile for about $236.00:

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime

It seems a bit big for a phone but I honestly probably only make a call every 2 days or so and it would be good for movies/games which I tend to do more of.

Keeping in mind I want a mobile phone and a tablet is this a pretty good hybrid option? Could anyone recommend any better alternatives?
