My Russell Hobbs toaster has been annoying me ever since I got it. One side had started to become temperamental and not lock down, and now the pushdown tab has snapped off.
Can't anyone recommend a good replacement? I'd like to keep the price reasonable. Aesthetics don't really bother me, but nothing too gaudy.

And how is he meant to know what toaster you have so he can avoid it???
Its red, and it has 4 slots. That's all I know. It is in the next room to me right now, but checking would involve getting up.

I have had the Sunbeam Cafe series toaster for nine years. Even browning on both sides and reliable. What more could you want?
I have one that can do crumpets too. It is good if you enjoy crumpets or even muffins
Oh no! It's red and it has 4 slots.
I have a 4 slot toaster which 50% of the time kicks the far left piece of toast at a high rate of speed, launching it into the air and onto the floor. Don't buy the same toaster I have.
