Was happy to go buy one of these today at $24.80, and got pleasant surprise to see $20.90 on the shelf. Not the cheapest this has ever been, but not a bad price either.

    I have the standard size Marella. I find it would have been easier to refill if they made the intake hole closer to the spout than the handle. It means when I put it under the faucet I have to bend my wrist to get reverse the jug so that the hole can be closer to the faucet. If I don't do this the spout will hit the wall. This is such an unnatural motion.

    Also remember that the XL is not designed to sit in your fridge door. The standard size fits the door perfectly and doesn't move around.

    This one is a bit bigger that the standard size Marella.
    But then, the standard one can be bought with 4 filters for $34.95 at TGG.
