What, everyone knows that when you have a problem, whether it be medical, financial, legal, emergency or not, the first place you call is OzBargain. Second place to call is 000 or lawyer etc if approved by the forum users.
Have you tried contacting Amex also, just to make sure it is not on the card's side of things?

Use a different browser. Chrome had some issues. Check the deal comments. People had the same issue
Op cant call amex to say i couldnt buy giftcards!!
I got the same issue, website seems not responding but I got confirmation email from Amex. Transaction is still pending on Amex website, and order ID doesn't exist on Dan Murphy system.
Dan Murphy staff told me that debit will be reversed or canceled after sometimes.
Amex staff said everything is good it has been approved.
Bollock!
I will just wait for a week.
This things happen. We want to score a deal but got stung.
Perhaps you should contact the card issuer.
That'd be a good common-sense step, no?
