Anker Car Charger

I'm urgently after a car charger and prefer to get it from OZ Seller and I've come across this one on eBay, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Anker-48W-9-6A-4-Port-USB-Car-Cha…

So I'm just wondering if anyone have bought it from this seller?

  • anker is meant to be a good brand.
but it does say this, which would stopme buying…
    • This charger is not compatible with the iPod nano, iPod Classic, iPod Shuffle, HP TouchPad and Asus tablets.
    • Harmless, discreet static noise emitted occasionally when in use.
. Does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge

What phone do you have, you may be better getting one that has QC2.0/3.0

    • I have iPhone 7+. What I am after is something that can charge 3 iPads at the same time and that one looks like it can do it.

      • i think you are fine then, i dont think iphones support quick charge standards like other phones.

I am not keen on • Harmless, discreet static noise emitted occasionally when in use. though.

  • I bought an Anker car charger and some cables off Amazon last year before they stopped shipping most of their stuff here. It's not the same model as this one (only 2 USB ports, older model) but it is the best charger of any kind I've ever owned. It worked great on my old Galaxy S5 and still works great on my new iPhone 7 as well. Very fast charging even if you have two devices connected at once. I cannot recommend Anker products more highly, they are fantastic quality and do everything they promise. So even if you don't buy from this seller, I suggest you still buy an Anker but from elsewhere, it'll be worth it.

As for the seller, well they do look a little bit suss to me… Member since 2002, only have one item for sale but have more than 10 of this item available? They have a decent amount of positive feedback, but they also don't seem to have sold anything in over a year.. A bit dodgy to me, and I probably wouldn't buy from them after seeing this but it really depends on how desperate you are for this charger.

You could try buy this charger from these guys instead? They're authorised Anker resellers, they occasionally do deals on here too.

    • Thanks for your information. I've sent him/her a message and got confirmed that the charger is genuine. I used your point to question him about the lack of selling activity and he told me he's just started doing this. He will be having more Anker products coming through soon. I will probably order one and worst come to worst, I'll just log a dispute with PayPal.
