  • I am so confuse with all these subscriptions for game console now a days. what is the different between Ea access and Xbox live gold? Bought my boy the Xbox one a deal from target before Xmas, then the Xbox live gold for $1 which going to expire the end of this month now should I get him m this deal or wait for the Xbox live gold deal so he won't lose the game he already downloaded using his Xbox live subscription? An dis Ea access like Xbox live once the subscription expires he cannot play or have no access to games he got for free with the Ea subscription.?

Xbox live allows you to play online multilplayer, gain access to cheaper prices in the store and possibly get some games for free.

EA access is different as you're basically buying 'play time' for the listed games.

      • Is the hat what it is, thanks for clearing that Perez.
Now, He is doing his year 12 this year so I don't want him to spend too much time on his console, his play time will be limited, more play time during mid year break and end of year break, with that amount of play time in mind is it better to get this deal or should I look for the Xbox live subscription?

        • Bit of a tough call. Safest bet would be to just get him EA ACCESS as it'd still be fun with single player and the temptation to constantly play multiplayer won't affect his studies.

If he has heaps of mates on xbox and you think he'll manage well with gaming and studying though go with LIVE. Assuming he plays games like overwatch.

Cheers OP! The missus has been after a new shooter and we picked up Battleborn for a tenner yesterday, but when this came up and I showed her the list, there's a couple of Battlefields and NFSs and Peggle and shit, and she jumped at it. Cheers!

    • My Mrs even got into Unraveled, even though I didn't think it was her sorta game! Definitely a thinking/puzzle solving sorta game, but the graphics are so cute!

  • Xbox in title would assist users searching the site

XB1 is a known abbreviation of Xbox One…

Alternatively, you can click on the product tag "EA Access" to view past deals for this

      • Just thinking it would save having to search multiple terms [ Xbox, Xbox One, XboxOne, XBOne, XB One, XB1 & XB 1 ]

  • Damn, was just about to jump on it when I saw the price has gone up a bit. :(
It's still a decent deal, but now that niggling little 'Do I really need this?' is popping up. I've already got a backlog I could be working through..

(New price is $33.90 with the 5% off, $35.69 without.)
