Midrange, Good Quality in-Ear Headphones

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could please find me some (as said in the title) Midrange, Good Quality in-Ear Headphones.
I have been looking for these for a while but cannot find any good deals. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to look or any good bargains?
I am willing to pay $75 max but if it is a really good bargain (40% off or more) I might pay more.
Thanks heaps guys, I really appreciate it.

Xiaomi Mi IV earphones are quite good. I rate them above my Sennheiser X300-IIs that were 2x the price. They're around $25. Not sure about more expensive ones.

  • go to aliexpress - look at in-ear headphonephones around the $5 mark that have lots of sales and then check feedback on them. if they have good feedback then buy a pair. look at several different models and buy a few pairs. test them all. the one(s) you really like then buy a few more pairs of them as spares.

I bought a pair xiaomi pistons 4 years ago for ~$5 from gearbest and they have been one of the best low priced in ear head phones I've bought.

though I did get a deal several years ago from DHgate for 7 pairs of in-ears for US$1 each and they have been great for use onboard of airplanes - only one pair has died (stretched cord).

Check out the MEE audio M6 PRO earphones. I use them on-stage as monitors, when I go running, taking phone calls and for personal listening. Had them for 2 years so far and going strong. Slightly out of your budget at $90 shipped, but you might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere: http://www.noisymotel.com/product.asp?ProductID=841 .

  • You should probably say what kind of earphone you like before asking for some recommendation.

Though my personal opinion is, if you can find a place with a lot of earphones to try out, try them out, look for recommendation from people who liked what you liked and decide on what you want to get based on that and what you liked.

  • I'd recommend the Sony MH1C. Available on eBay currently for around $30 shipped, e.g. here. I've bought many pairs of IEMs, some costing 3x as much and always keep coming back to these for general listening. They have a very pleasing warm but detailed sound signature that most people will like (unlike something like the Xiaomi Hybrids which can be hit or miss), and play nicely with just about every genre of music.

The main caveat though is comfort- absolutely do not buy these if you're going to be running/moving a lot as the microphonics (cable noise transferred to your ears) and overall fit will become annoying very quick.

There's a lot of information on Headfi about these if you do a quick google search.

  • seinhesser CX 3.0 - or 2.0 - whichever is like 79 bucks.

  • I highly recommend klipsch image s4 (they may have a new series now, not sure). Amazing quality and my favourite.

Link just so you know which ones I'm talking about. I'm sure you can get a good deal on them.

They also do iPhone and android specific ones with controls.
