    The DHP-P309AV Powerline kit is a good deal. If you go halves with a mate $45 a kit (via redemption). I use these to extend WiFi where I have no cat 5 and wireless bridging fails due to environment factors.

    So it should provide up to 100Mbps (10MB/s) real world speed.

      How do you extend your wirleless network with this kit, I didn't think the 3nd plug in device had wireless built in? You can only connect a network cable?

        I connect a WiFi AP to the network socket of one of the Powerline adapters.

    Thanks OP. I bought a steam link recently and was looking for a passthrough device. You made a spelling error in your post however. It is the 309 and not the 390. I called the store and they confirmed that it is Australian stock and is eligible for the dlink promotion.
