Whats with the yum cha brands ? are they former Mortal Kombat players or something

    • YumCha + Mortal Kombat = Win ;)

      • Now that i would like to see :) or street fighter + yum cha

  • ends today? didn't get the response from the general oo community you where expecting, eh? i would assume you'd normally post these at the start of the sale!

  • These are always on sale at this price, i purchased the 24" for the same price 3 weeks ago. Measured the screen when it arrived and it measures 23" not 24" as advertised. I wonder how undersized these TV's are the bigger they get!

    • they actually measure the panel, not the screen viewing area.
some of the panel is covered by the plastic…

yep dodgy, thats why some places advertise viewing area, and you get some weird sized monitors. eg 22.5.

      • +1

        +1 Dodgy Bros.

The genuine measurement is ALWAYS the diagonal of the actual viewing area, and NEVER includes the screen surround bezel, unless you're trying to fool the punters of course.

Besides the Dodgy Bros descriptions, I must say I was so underwhelmed by these no-name offerings and their very ordinary prices that I've had to go and have a sit down, and a cup of tea.

(BTW, I have previously bought stuff from OO.com without any problems! So I don't have an axe to grind.)
