300 Finish Powerball Classic Dishwashing Tablets for $34.95-$37.95 Delivered @ COTD (11.65-12.65c Per Tablet)

160

COTD are selling 60 Tabs for $5 + Delivery, but then 60 Tabs for Around $15 delivered isn't exactly a bargain. However the good news is that there is a flat rate for shipping, so add the maximum quantity allowed of 5 to get 300 tabs for $25 + Delivery.

Chucked a few postcodes in and it seems that delivery is $9.95-$12.95, so works out to be $34.95-$37.95 delivered for 300 tabs, which is a decent deal as it is only 11.65-12.65c per tab.

I was using these grey import tablets for over a year, but then Fairy sent me a bunch to try for a product survey. I have not looked back, they even clean the dishwasher and my glasses are no longer cloudy.

Just out of curiosity are you talking about spectacles or beverage utensils?

      • beverage vessels.

Found any good deals on the Fairy dishwashing tabs?

They had a great deal on Fairy on COTD recently, I have a feeling it will be back. 300 tabs for $49 or something.

    • Yes, I was so happy to be done with my finish tablets. Bought 180 fairy pods for $40. I will start looking for another fairy deal when I've got a month or do left. Unless a hella deal comes along.

  • Are these the tablets that need to be unwrapped? The dissolving wrapper type don't last too long in the tropics.

Finish tablets aren't very good, apparently, even the more "premium" varieties: https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/kitchen/dishwasher…

The bang-for-buck factor is much higher with tablets like Aldi Logix 10-in-1 at 16c each.

  • I've used these all in one tabs in the past but was wondering how the performance and price compares going the other way with the powder detergent and separate rinse aid?

    • White Vinegar is a very effective Rinse Aid, safe too.

  • Can someone check the ingredients on the underside?
I think these may be the ones without phosphates, so don't work very well.
You want to see ">30% phosphates".

  • A good price if not the best. Best price ever here was around 9c a tab some years back (the 'crushed box' deal).

I'm still using some of the tabs from the 360 I bought in that go. As for function, they work fine if you put just the soiled dishes in the washer and not half the meal too .. 😅 .. !!

    • I give everything a quick scrub to make sure no scraps are stuck on.
A bit of extra work, but it means less crap in the dishwasher, less filter cleaning, less chances of roaches.

  • They are $10.00 a pack now.
