      I bought from a previous deal of theirss so happy to vouch for them. Not sure how long it took to arrive, may 2 weeks. I think they are in Ireland.

    Why are Brita so popular? Isn't plastic supposed to be really bad for water storage?

    • Its BPA free

      • There are other BP types to worry about too if u look at research. BPA free alone is not enough unless free of ALL BP types

          Damn it is hard to stay healthy. I can imagine that in 100 years time people will be saying "I can't believe that people used to have food and drink in plastic containers"! What is even scarier is that in Thailand they put 'hot' foods into plastic bags for 'take-away'.

          @Peck:

          Some dodgy stuff out there, like Yams that you buy at a supermarket packed in Bubble wrap, and who knows where the bubble wrap has been.

          How about Chips in newspaper, which seems to have been stopped a few years ago.

          Or those microwave meals that are in plastic that are heated up in the disposable plastic container.

  • I don't know this exact filter, but I bought some other Brita Filters on ebay from UK. Very cheap for a bulk 12 filters. And so compare to ebay if you are in the market.

    Does anyone know if the knockoff brand filters at Kmart fit in to Brita jugs? They look the same shape but I've never actually tried.

    • FWIW, karts return policy is pretty good
