Coles e-gift card balance check??

Hi, I have a lot of coles e-gift cards and I cannot check the balances at the following sites: https://secure.giftcards.com.au/retaillogin.aspx

I used to know of a site that worked properly for checking coles egift balances but I have lost the link. Does anyone know of the link that actually works? I stumbled upon it when reading through a coles (or coles relating TOS or similar document) The url is very similar to the ones I have provided.

    Have you tried entering the last 17 digits only to check the balance?

      Can confirm that you only need to enter the last 17 digits for eGift cards.

        I have tried and I get: "Error
        The Card Number or 4-digit PIN entered is not valid. Please re-enter your Card Number and 4-digit PIN." I have tried it with egift cards that I know have funds in them. I have tried hooking up my old hard drive to look for the book mark to this elusive site that works, but I can't run a 3.5 hard drive off a usb to sata adapter. So you have actually entered the last 17 digits and gotten a balance from those sites?

          Yep last 17 digits of the card + 4 digit pin.

    definitely works for physical coles giftcard, but have not tried with e-gift cards.

    OH MY GOD…. I tried chrome instead of Firefox and it worked. :)
    I feel silly though. I bet it was the captcha not being able to work properly.

    Related question - does anyone know of an app for tracking the balance of Coles egift cards? Woolies Money does a fine job on the other side of the fence, but is there a Coles equivalent?

      Sorry for digging up such an old thread.

      I started buying Coles eGift Card recently, and I too want to know if there is an app that allow balance of the Coles Gift Card to be checked easily on the mobile

        Try out this one [Gift Card Balance]. website here: https://gcb.today/app/.
        Both android (Play Store) and iOS (App Store) are supported.

        Basically you save card number in the app and it connects to website balance check page and fills in details.
        You still need to do the captcha manually but at least not all the numbers each time.

        FYI, I am the developer of the app. Please give me a yell if anything I could help.

    The e-gift card should write the 17-digit number on a separate section, not next to Card number.

    The fact this needs a forum to check the balance is a terrible job on Coles and/or Digital Glue Engines part. Painful process all around
