Home and Landlord Insurance - Who Do You Insure with?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at different home & contents and landlord insurance options. I've received a wide mix of different suggestions and opinions from friends and family. As such, I'm still uncertain what is the best (or a better) insurance company to go with.

Then I thought, "why not ask the ozbargain community…"

I would like to know which insurance company you would recommend for home & contents insurance and landlord insurance? And why?

Also, what are the things you look for in their insurance policies?
