can you wait 5 mins, ive just sold a kidney and bought a dozen of them

My apologies. I didn't meant to be rude.

How much did you get for your kidneys (stones included?)?

      • +2

Heh, it's funny because your remaining kidney would probably fall out on the ground trying to process this amount of fluid/alcohol!

        • +1

I know a code that gets u 5% more for Kidneys

        • i was under the impression the liver processes alcohol :)

    • Awwww…stop your whining!

    • +1

thanks op bought 7, will sell these individually at 2x roi on ebay.

    • +6

ill only buy that if it comes with free postage!

  • +29

From the price tag, I see these are exclusive for some rich Chinese buyers. Well done, Dan Murphy :)

    • +1

I'm sure if you ask they'll give you a discount if you buy a few dozen goon bags. Probably won't throw in a fridge though. You might get lucky and get a pack of ciggies.

    • +28

Waiting for the $8.88 deal for us poor chinese buyers

      • +11

$8.88? LOOKSURY! In my day deals were $0.88

$8 deals would have been a paradise to us!

        • +4

Oh how we used to dream of $0.88 deals! We had $0.08 deals and we were lucky to have those!

        • @imurgod: In the day of George VI, we had deals in the amount of eight farthings, by the grace of God king of all Britain.

        • +1

@twocsies: oh now we see the violence inherent in the system

    • +7

Might be suitable for our politicians entertaining multi-national CEOs, paid for by the taxpayer naturally.

      • +1

Or suitable for an MP using tax payers money to fly to a friend's wedding.

They could also share the spoils while spending tax payers money to fly their family/wife to an exotic location like Broome.

        https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.smh.com.au/federal-polit…

      • +1

our politicans would happily pay over RRP

    • +2

Nah I don't even have $888 on my account. I drink bloody Gossip. It's bad being a poor Chinese :(

  • +1

can you fit all them wine bottles inside that fridge?

    • +2

can you fit all them wine bottles inside that fridge?

No problem-o. Dan Murphy can sell you a gold-plated fridge for $88,888.88 (excluding shipping).

  • +12

hellohello123, why didn't you post this earlier??? I paid RRP $10156 x12 for a dozen of them only yesterday!

    • +4

I would recommend you go back to the store and beg them for a refund!

youll probably be audited at the same time too!

      • +10

  • -2

    Thanks op will take 10.

    Bar fridge was the sweetner.

  • +21

and most importantly you get free shipping.

Can't resist, the free shipping just makes this too good of a deal.

  • +1

Great for a chinese new year present instead of red packets. I'll include the receipt in the gift!

  • +1

Don't forget OW price match, and your liver.

  • +1

How many frequent flyer points do I get with this purchase?

    • +1

enough for a ride to the hospital for a liver transplant

  • +7

    Price match at Office works?

    • +2

      Price match at Office works?

Cheers (big ears), I'll drink to that.

  • +3

The $888 package is actually a bargain, just that the fridge is a cheap Chinese one which gets really bad reviews.. and won't last out the wine. Reports have it heating up for no reason … risking some very expensive vinegar

    • +1

Surely if the wine fridge cooks the wine you'd expect the wine replaced under warranty, I've heard it happen when a fridge dies under warranty.

      • Big difference between covering a few hundred worth of food, vs potentially thousands worth of wine.

        • +3

Then I would put it to the company that if they are building a niche product with a specific purpose it needs to be fit for that purpose.

  • Probably be OZbargained anyway

  • +1

"The $888 package is actually a bargain, just that the fridge is a cheap Chinese one which gets really bad reviews.. and won't last out the wine. "

Then you're not trying hard enough.

  • Is it windows 10 compatible?

  • +2

How much will be the CashRewards? lol

    • $311.08

Only 3.5% as its a "Mixed Item" not 7%

  • +12

I would buy instantly, but I've still got a Gossips Moscato sitting in the fridge.

  • +7

Too bad the CashRewards capped at $50. Kill the deal for me

  • +1

Will wait for TA's deal, thanks.

  • +3

Came here for the comments, highly disappointed.

    • +1

      Stop whining!

      • This is the best comment thus far, and that's saying something!

  • +1

I'm not rich and I never underestimate rich people's taste.
people who spend $8888 on wines will definitely know what they are after

  • +11

This or 3555L of fruity lexia goon?

    • +2

Here for a good time, not a long time aye?

      • +1

        Apparently neither.

  • +5

13% seems like a crappy deal for wine.

Langtons/Vinomofo/crackawines/cellarmasters had various deals (amex, coupond, etc) at >40% off over Christmas.

    $2100 decanter … really?

    • +6

Its the kind that helps your money decant.

    • sure does, I reckon you could negotiate a much better deal if approaching a seller with a list this large and expensive.

      • +3

there's nothing impressive on the list … once you take away the fridge, decanter and port … its just a bunch of mid range wine.

Not even a bottle of grange in there.0

    • +1

Decanter is an absolute bargain, it's 1/90th of the price of the 6L version! http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/south-australia/penfolds-…

Plus it comes with a bottle of grange, so it's really only a $1400 decanter! The deal that keeps on giving, this one.

      • My bad - the decanter is only $1400 and the pack does include a bottle of grange!

  • +2

Great deal op! Was just about to take my Learjet out to go pick it up before I noticed the free shipping. Fabulous!!

  • +4

Came here for the jokes. Not disappointed.

  • +3

I've only just started drinking wine and am going for a wine tasting tour in 2 weeks. Is this a good starter pack for an amateur wine drinker who would consume about 1 bottle every 3 weeks or so?

    Thanks for you help guys.

    • +2

dont forget to use the crystal decanter as flower vase

they will make your flowers grow faster….so ive been told

  • +1

Well at least this discount is better than the 50c off a large meal from Hungry Jacks that got like 150 upvotes. wd OP

  • +1

Don't forget Amex $10 dollars offer.

  • Anyone done the maths on how to minimise the price?

    • +14

Yep, don't buy it, save $8,888

      • +1

        Holy they did the maths!

  • +1

    I only got 8888 cents…is that enough?

  • +1

I dont drink wine but i think its a great start.

  • +1

    Very cheap deal.
Thanks op. Hang on where's my wallet?

  • +1

Is the discount just because the decanter is so crappy? Can't even stand up it looks like when you've half drank a can of Coke and you lean it on 45 degrees.

  • +2
  • +1

No deal, fridge is only 30 bottles, they should of included the 120 bottle fridge.

  • Waiting for someone to educate that 8 is a lucky number for Chinese

    • 8 is a bloody lucky number in China. If can't get 8, then 6 will do.

    • And 4 is unlucky… anyone want to explain why

      • four => fall (English)
        four => die (Chinese)
