Hi, since OP posted a link to bricklink, has anyone had purchases or dealings with this website before and can share your experience? I see a few sets from my childhood there.
I havent but bricklink is the "ebay" for lego sets and parts. I believe there is feedback for each seller. There is a stickied link on bricklink on lego subreddit
I have had multiple order from BrickLink, it is just like eBay, if you buy from highly rated sellers and make sure you read each store's S&H fee and terms and conditions, then you will most likely be fine.

Not necessarily. When I purchased some Lego and got the bonus set at Doncaster, the manager said he had been getting a lot of phone calls about the set, and had been giving the bonus Rooster set to people who came into store with their receipt. He seemed like a pretty decent bloke, so just a heads up.
