Dell XPS 15 crashing and sound issues :(...

Hi Everyone,

I have bought Dell xps 15 last month in jbhifi and it kept crashing every other day with reason 'critical process died'. On top of it laptop speakers buzzing with voice audio output.

Is it possible to return it????

Conclusions: Yesterday I went to the store and explained the scenario and they agreed to change it with a new laptop of my choice. I bought MacBook pro 15" with same config for an extra 150$.

The problem could be anything; virus messing with critical windows files, corrupt drivers, faulty hardware.

I would start with a clean install of Windows from the recovery partition to eliminate software problems.

Hi, there are so many posts on the internet regarding XPS15 (9550) crashing.
I read through many and people had all sort of solutions.

What ultimately has worked for me (so far 1 week 0 crashes doing heavy load things) was downloading samsung SSD drivers.
ALTHOUGH the SSD that is in my xps15 doesn't actually have specific drivers, I downloaded and installed the Samsung NVMe ssd driver and things started working fine.
Also make sure you have latest drivers especially BIOS

Other solutions include changing wireless card if you have the Dell Wireless card

Changing the BIOS read from RAID to AHCi
