  • What is the front grey part for? Extra comfort for the palm?

    Kinda thought it is unnecessary

  • I brought a wireless keyboard & mouse from HN today. Some HN stores have 30% off all keyboards and mice. I decided against the S520 based on this review:

    http://www.cnet.com.au/logitech-cordless-desktop-s520-339292…

I plan to use mine in the living room with a media centre pc so the sizable palm rest doesn't suit. I ended up purchasing the Logitech LX310 for $90, down from $129.95. This has better battery life, better mouse and 5 year warranty. Afterwards I say this in OfficeWorks for $99. Didn't ask about price match as I had already purchased from HN.

However I probably would have purchased the S520 model if I was going to use it with a desk-based computer.

    • I price matched the LX310 at Officeworks from Mwave.com.au where they are selling the LX310 for $49.95, comes with the laser mouse as well. After delivery charge it was just over 60 bucks.

      • Do officeworks pricematch online stores?

        • Yes I think so. But they'll ask you to include postage as well. If it's cheaper you get extra 5% off :D

      • Crap. That's a good price. At least I paid for it using vouchers I'd received as a bonus.

      • I love pricematching at officeworks, I got the MX1100 for $30 as umart were having a sale and the lady at the counter forgot to add postage :D

  • I am not in a hurry to get one, but just wondering another 20 bucks? is worth it to get the bluetrack one like in http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/27916

  • went there today. so tempted to get one for my work. 38$ is pretty good price I guess.

  • I assume that there it only takes a single usb receiver to be plugged in, not separate ones for mouse and keyboard? Anyone know if it's one of those really small usb receivers which are handy for laptops?

  • Wow. I went to HN looking to grab this, but it was on the shelf @ $150 & the MK250 was in a bargain bin for $35 (labeled $50, even scanned at $50 has to tell them of the discount). Thought I was tripping.

    Now it seems S520 is $130 (http://www.harveynorman.com.au/product/1255509375370/logitec…)
    And MK250 is $44 (http://www.harveynorman.com.au/product/1256968017431/logitec…)

Good work to those who got this bargain. Considering MSY is still selling them @ $44, HN are heavily ripping people off.

    • Called them then, seemed happy to swap over MK250 for S520 for $3 difference.
