    That promo has expired as of 31st Dec, this is similar to the previous offer but different, such as the draw is $500 flight center voucher.

  Took them 11 weeks to send me my gift card after multiple phone calls

  They never sent me the gift cards from referrals either

  Yeah I signed up with NIB back in September last year for their gift card offer.
  About 10 phone calls and 10 emails later I finally have a gift card that has a $0 balance.

  I expect it will be another 10 calls to resolve this now.
  Gift card offers = buyer beware IMO.

    I had the exact same problem. I called NIB complaint department, threatened to call ombudsman. 15 minutes after the call, my gift card suddenly had $200 on it. So dodgy.

      I had the problem. I emailed them and saw the $200 in my card 20 minutes later.

      The issue is not with NIB, its with TLC marketing whom manages the promotions on their behalf

        Yeah I have called and let it ring for about 5 minutes (yes 5 minutes) on the TLC help line a few weeks ago, had to try a few times. (and emailed but they never got answered)

        This guy Jacob from TLC was the one who followed up and actually finally got the card sent after about 3 or 4 months.
        I've emailed him twice now further about the $0 balance and he hasn't responded apart from the initial "I'll get IT to look at it straight away"

        I call BS on the whole thing, they try make it so much stuffing around that you just don't bother with it.
        The fact they push it off to some other marketing company that is also tarnishing their brand is unacceptable and just passing the buck IMO.

        I'm calling NIB tomorrow and letting them have it, I'm not happy with just getting this gift card now - I'm going for compensation for my time spent as it's been HOURS of mucking around now and I am going to be armed with other people's experiences here on OZB as well.

        I'll post back how I go…..

        So I called and got a bit more demanding, and it was re-loaded within two days.
        NIB were extremely apologetic about TLC but pretty much passed the responsibility on to them - I'd say they wont use them again!
        So in the end it was a good outcome, but gee I had to work for it.

  I got my gift card in my welcome pack. Literally before they even took my first payment! (Which was what they said when I signed up 'You'll receive your gift card in your welcome pack').

  To be fair and transparent - you get the $100 gift card regardless of whether you are referred by someone (or have a referral code). You don't get a chance to win the $500 flight centre gift card though without the referral. =)

  With the last offer I didn't get the gift card in my welcome pack, and found the company a pain to deal with.

    Yes they threatened me to send the gift card back when I called to cancel. They would ask you multiple times about whether you joined only for the gift card. If you answer yes ot being uncertain, I bet they would not honour the gift card saying you breach the T&C.There's no trust in this company and it took 6-8 weeks for gift card to come. Not worth the hassle.
